Why Do We Suffer?

Why does God allow his children to suffer?

We must always remember that God sees the big picture. He sometimes allows us to suffer because, what we go through is often used to bring glory to God. God makes no mistakes, therefore we can rely upon his wisdom in what trials he allows to come our way.
The trials we face often shape us into the person we become.

God uses trials and difficult situations to teach us things that otherwise we would never learn. We learn patience only when we have to wait. We learn to trust God when he is all that we have. We learn to love deeply when people we've loved have been taken away.
God allows suffering to bring maturity in our lives. When we go through trials and suffering, God is glorified because it is in these things that we are conformed to God himself.

God sees the big picture. He allows suffering because it may be the only way that we bring glory to God.
